I'm putting Astaro Security Gateway 8 (home) through an evaluation. I downloaded a backed-up spam-infested e-mail account with filtering on.
Now I'd like to *release* the quarantined messages so I can analyze them in my e-mail client, the same way I'd do with a client-side antispam.
It appears I do not understand the meaning of "release". I checked the boxes for a handful of messages, scrolled to the bottom, chose "Release" from the list, and clicked GO. Nothing happened in the Mail Manager, and nothing happened when I hit Send/Receive on the test system.
What does "Release" actually do? And how can I release those messages from quarantine for analysis? Thanks
