V8 RBLs

Looking at the SMTP Log in Mail Manager on my newly-upgraded ASG V8, I see RBL rejection messages citing black.rbl.ctipd.astaro.local and grey.rbl.ctipd.astaro.local.  I presume these are composite RBLs used internally by the ASG, but my question is: if a valid recipient finds himself being rejected, how can he (or I) now find out which actual RBL caused the rejection?

  • It seems like maybe my guess above is correct, Doug, and your new thread would seem to confirm this.  Your email from yahoo.com obviously had a forged sender because the IP listed, 216.146.33.121, in fact belongs to mailhop.org.  My guess is that the Mial Manager line you supplied showed that V8 got a "questionnable" rating for the IP, greylisted the email, and the email never was resent, so Astaro reported that it was rejected.
