Hello Friends !

i am running my mail server from home and its working fine except some issues

when i send some mail to some id it say blacked by

" 550 5.7.1 Mail from "my public ip" blocked using Trend Micro Email Reputation database. Please see

I doubt you'll find a free one as spammers would be on it like flies on dead meat.
(Sorry my Aussie side coming out here).

What about your ISP's mail server?

hi ,

i tested with my isp (with beta 8),its was not working

i send mail to my isp for same , i have take domain from them also

Have you asked your ISP to create a reverse DNS entry for your IP address? If not, get them to set it to the FQDN that is in the SMTP Hostname field in Advanced Settings on the Advanced Tab.

Some blacklists look at RDNS entries and if it's generic for your ISP, you are blacklisted.

Also, have you tried going to the blacklist site to find out how to get yourself whitelisted?

Hi ,

yes rdns ("Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner" ) problem was there ,but that was fixed 3 weeks back and what u r suggested that is configured

yes i check that also with link and that ip is blacklisted with trend micro reputation service

William, I took a quick look at that. It looks like this only works for a single email address - is that right?

Have you visited the Trend site (MAPS - Support - Lookup Tool) to see how your IP is being blacklisted.

From there, you can then put a request in to get it removed (MAPS - Support - IP Address Removal Process).

Follow that process and you'll be sorted quite quickly.

RBL " mypublicip " contact MAPS for removal

Please note: These databases are based on IP addresses; they do not use host or domain names.

the action link took me to some foam where i submited dtls and request to remove from black list

i have written to my isp also from the same
