mail server setup

Hi ,

my mail server is on vmware esxi /w2k3 then what configuration i have to make on asg

i have configure this way smtp>>Domains and routing targe >>my domain name (bbb.com)
route by static host >>w2k3 mail server added
in replay >>Host-based relay>>w2k3

what other configuration need to be done !
added nat rule for pop and smtp (do i require it )

  • You don't need the NAT rule; in fact, that could cause in-bound email to skip the Astaro SMTP Proxy.  The POP3 proxy is not meant to be used with an internal mail server, so you will need a NAT rule for POP3 if you want your mailserver to receive POP3 email.

    Some ISPs will block port-25 traffic and require that you use their smart host.  If you can't send or receive email, that may be your problem.
