stop mail delivery

Hello,

I want to know if there is an option to disable mail delivery from my astaro smtp-proxy to my mail server.
When I’m doing maintenance on my mail server I want to stop delivery.
I tried to disable the smtp profile but than I got rely not allowed errors.
How can I do this?

Astaro will continue to receive messages if you leave the SMTP Proxy enabled. It will continue to hold the messages and attempt delivery to your mail server if it can't complete the delivery, and will only return the messages after (I think) 72 hours. So, if I understand what you want to accomplish, I think that your solution lies within your mail server.
