Spool timeout

Hello,
does anyone knows for how many days the messages are stored in spool before an NDR is generated? I plan to shutdown my smtp server for some days I would like to know if the messages will be bounced or not.

    Smtp Server IS your Mailbox Server ? Just stop astaro smtp Proxy too.

    I'll try to explain better my situation [:)]
    I don't want to stop my smtp proxy. In this moment my SMTP server (MDaemon) is down cause of maintenance and it will be down until monday morning. Astaro is ON, and the SMTP proxy is ON too, because I want that astaro continues to receive mails from internet. On monday morning, when I'll start SMTP server, it will riceive all the mails stored in Astaro. My question is: for how many days astaro mantains the received (but not delivered) mails in spool?
