SMPT log error message

I am seeing the following error and i'm not sure what it means...

  • A client and we experienced a similar issue last year.  It seems that this phenomenon is a result of your ISP doing DNS hijacking.  The way the RBL works is that it resolves the request when when the IP is blacklisted.  When your ISP's nameserver returns a valid IP, the Astaro assumes the email is from a blacklisted IP.  OpenDNS is "RBL friendly" and should not cause these problems.

    When I complained to the local Cox technicians, it seemed from their subsequent commentary that they had gotten their knuckles rapped when they escalated my issue to Atlanta.  I have no complaints with Cox; they aren't uniqu among large ISPs in doing DNS hijacking to be able to do a little advertising.
