SMPT log error message

I am seeing the following error and i'm not sure what it means...

    RDNS missing means that the server that is sending out the email does not have a reverse dns entry in the DNS servers.
    It needs to have a name like mailserver.mycompany.com connected to its IP address in the Domain Name System. Otherwise it's treated as a server that sends out spam because a lot of times these servers will not be set up correctly and are missing this entry. The astaro checks if it has this RDNS entry and if it does not the mail gets treated as spam.

    so is the ASG looking for something specific in front of the domain name?
