whitelist limit

Hi,

We're running 7.503 and sometimes we find that mail is rejected, especially when it comes from hotmail.  It's a big problem as many of our clients use hotmail!

While I work on diagnosing the issue I am considering exporting all of our clients email addresses and then importing them into the whitelist.

I was wondering if there is a limit to how many addresses can be added to the whitelist and if there is anything else I might need to consider?  We could be looking at 8000 email addresses!

Thanks in advance,

Greg

  • Greg, look in 'Mail Security >> Mail Manager', open the 'Mail Manager' and look to see the reason that some of them were rejected.  You'll need that to frame the Exception(s), and you might find out how to change your configuration and avoid the hassles of the whitelist.
