Constantly getting this error now after latest upgrade

The spam filter daemon is unable to reach the database servers via HTTP. Please make sure that the device is able to send HTTP (TCP port 80) requests to the Internet. You may have to allow such traffic on upstream devices.


Any idea. I read where its concerning High availability but mine is turned off.

I have seen reports of other users getting same error but im yet to read a solution

    Open the HTTP live log, then try.  You will see the exact moment a lookup failed.  Look in the PF and IPS logs to see what, if anything, occured at that time.

    Ack!  I don't know if it's related, but I'm constantly getting these messages too after upgrading to 7.504 yesterday:

    Ftp Proxy not running - restarted
    smtpd not running - restarted
    NTP not running - restarted

    No more spam filter query errors though, ha!  ;o)

    I'll poke around for results on these services after I check my logs closer to see if I can figure out why (doubt it though, haha).

    OK.  After I looked at it for two more seconds, I realized I don't even use smtp with ASG so I enabled it and disabled it hoping that'll buzz it off...I also restarted the other services...Hope that makes them stop false reporting (because they do actually work...I'll just have to disable the notifications if it doesn't stop soon...).

    Nope, didn't work.  I don't have time to mess around with it, so I'll just disable the notifications...
