Constantly getting this error now after latest upgrade

The spam filter daemon is unable to reach the database servers via HTTP. Please make sure that the device is able to send HTTP (TCP port 80) requests to the Internet. You may have to allow such traffic on upstream devices.


Any idea. I read where its concerning High availability but mine is turned off.

I have seen reports of other users getting same error but im yet to read a solution

    Hey, guys,

    I'm guessing that you just upgraded from 7.40x to 7.50x (please always specify when asking questions).  Please check your packet filter and IPS logs for blocked DNS responses.  The new IPS has an expanded rule set and a more-powerful engine.  If you search here, you'll find rules that people have disabled.

    I'm getting the messages too and I haven't upgraded anything lately; FEB 17 I upgrade from 7.502 to 7.503 according to autobackup from the procedure.  I reaaaaally have to sift through my packet filter to see what DNS requests are legit or not from Astaro?  ugh...
    Any suggestions what specifically to search for to get the results for what to do?  This is the best post I came up with for this issue (found a couple instances where folks said they'd look into it or call support but no solution).
