LDAP check failing

Hi,

Not sure if im posting this in the right forum, but i coulnd find a better one, so sorry in case its wrong [:)]

I setup an exchange server in my LAN and having the astaro handle my the incoming mail and forward it to my exchange. When i added an active directory in the (users -> authentication -> servers) i added a Bind DN which works, test says its all oke. Down below i entered the Bind DN (cn=Users,DC=domain,DC=com), when i test a user there i get "User could not be authenticated".

At this moment all mail are being blocked because he thinks the receiving end is not a valid user .. any help would be very welcome.

Is the DN the actual path in AD?

For instance is it OU=HR,OU=Home Office,DC=domain,DC=com

From the User's Manual (my bold):
The full Distinguished Name (DN) of the user to bind to the server with in LDAP notation. This user is needed as anonymous queries to the Active Directory server are usually not allowed. The bind user must have sufficient privileges to obtain all relevant user object information from the Active Directory server in order to authenticate users; a requirement usually met by the administrator of the domain.

"cn=Users,DC=domain,DC=com" would be correct for the 'Base DN'.

Thank you for your replies!

You are right Balfson, I had used the right DN, cept i also had to add it in (mail security -> smtp - Routing tab) aswell. Now the tests go oke.
