Greetings,
I am trying to find out if there is a way to disable Astaro generated mail failure notifications. We are running Astaro Security Gateway 320 firmware rev 7.405.
Basically our situation is this, we have several complicated (IMO over-complicated) email driven processes here, one or more of which auto-generates email to a public folder which has an auto-responder. Something in the process has decided to respond to the mailer-daemon address the Astaro uses for email delivery failure notices, which causes a bounce-reply loop which throws hundreds of failure messages a day into the public folders in question.
Is there a way to disable mail failure notifications while we track this down to its source?
Also, this is an Exchange 2003 system, so if anyone has any ideas how to deny those emails access to the public folders they are filling up that would help as well, research has turning up a few things but nothing actually works.
Now if we could just get the bosses to approve an upgrade to 2010 we wouldn't have any of these issues. [:P]
