which RBL's are used in Antispam?

Hi,
could someone tell me which Realtime Blackhole Lists entered in the astaro spamfilter?
Are these up2date? We are using a ASG220 Security Gateway V7, FW: 7.402 PatternVersion: 11008
There's a problem with passed spammails, so we want to change the RBL's to some newer.
Maybe you know some good lists?

Thanks

PS: There was no answer at german board...

  • Last Friday, there was an outage of several hours around noon GMT at spamhaus that caused incorrect rejections, but there's been nothing that would cause spams to pass.

If you're on 7.4 or newer, the standard RBLs and the new spam filter are very near to perfect.  I don't think your problem is inadequate RBL information.

It's more likely that people have given out their email addresses to win a contest or something.  They just need to opt out of these mailing lists and stop using their business email address for playing and shopping on the internet.

    Cheers - Bob

  • we have best results with a small list like this:
    3 Astaro defaults.
    sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
    pbl.spamhaus.org
    cbl.abuseat.org
    and one extra
    b.barracudacentral.org (free registration necessary)
  • sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
    pbl.spamhaus.org
    cbl.abuseat.org

    can all be replaced with

    zen.spamhaus.org

  • Barry,
How do you replace the defaults with zen?
  • IIRC, you can disable the defaults, and add a new RBL, but maybe I'm thinking of an older version of Astaro.
