ASG & Exchange 2003

we have installed Exchange 2003 recently behind ASG 7.501, all roles are installed on one server.
i know to scan any sent e-mail, ASG must be configured as smart host, but what about scanning the received e-mails??
what is the configuration required??

    What most people do is set the Astaro box up as the MX device. (So incoming mail points to the Astaro box.)
    Configure SMTP proxy to receive mail for your domain/s and forward to the Exchange Server.
    Virus and antispam can then be setup in the SMTP proxy assuming you have the required licenses.
