mail attachment

How can I see what type/sort  file an attachement is.
I can only see how big the attachement is in the mail manager  SMTP log.

    There is no infomation about the content in the logs.

    Is there another way to see which type attachment it is not send on.
    And I do not see it in blocked mail.

    For your mailserver, create an exception for Extension blocking, Expression blocking and MIME type checks.

    I know that Exchange can be configured to strip certain file types, so you might check your mail server settings.

    We are using Groupwise and Gwava for mail protection.
    Astaro should deliver the mail with attachement max size 50MB.
    The attachement is only 11 MB and should be delivered (smtp-log)
    but it is not it just disappeared? No message no block nothing. 
    I thought maybe fingerprint or something else but it seems to be a pdf file which should no problem ( sender told this to us). We are receiving more then 500 mails a day without any problem except this one. Could this be a bug it happens after the upgrade to firmaware 7.500
