Anti-Virus light "off" after upgrade from ASG 7.405 to 7.500

I have two Astaros, both simply acting as MXs.  One is for immediate patching/testing/upgrading...the other gets updated later.

After upgrading my "test" machine from 7.405 to 7.500 - the "Anti-virus" light is off.  Anti-Virus *is* running however.  Minor aesthetic glitch, but was unable to find out if this was happening to anyone else.

  • I've opened another thread pointing out that the new WebAdmin engine seems to poison the browser cache at times.  I wonder if your problem would be resolved by clearing the browser cache.

  • Cleared the cache, no dice.  Still burnt out.

I simply restarted the Astaro device, although this happened after the upgrade.  Still burned out.

I'll hunt a round a little more, before I file a bug -- I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I am not licensed for HTTP/S, FTP & Anti-Spyware filtering?

  • Called the Astaro support line (nothing like Platinum support)...lol.

I am licensed for Anti-Virus scanning on email, and the functionality *is* running.  (Looking in the SMTP Log for "SCANNER" shows activity)

The only problem is that the GUI image isn't "Green" -- it's grey.  Not a big problem...to be patched.

    Just an FYI.
