PoP3 proxy for Mail Offline !

hi all !
i have : 

--[Internet(Mail_server)]------[Firewall]--------[AMG]------[Mail_Hub]

Used mail Offline, 
Mail_Hub use software VPoP3 to connect, authenticate with Mail_server.
But when I enable PoP3 proxy, VPoP3 cann’t authenticate with Mail_server.
If I disable PoP3 proxy, VPoP3 can authenticate with Mail_server.

Why? 
Please help me !

    The POP3 Proxy protects clients, and the SMTP Proxy protects mail srvers.  I'm not familiar with VPOP3, but it sounds like a server.  In that case, you should configure the Astaro's SMTP Proxy with Mail_Hub as a local server and Internet(Mail_Server) as a smart server.
