can we have both authenticated relay and host based relay on astaro?

Hi there,

I am Running ASG 7.405, and i have Exchange server running on internal Network. Exchange IP address is added on the host relaying tab. I want also some external users that using IMAP to get their e-mails to be able to send mails using Astaro SMTP. By adding those users to the authenticated relay tab is going to create any issue with the host based relay or they can co exist with no problem?

I presume that you have a DNAT for them to access the Exchange Server:
Source: Any
Service: IMAP
Destination: External (Address)

Change Destination to: [Exchange Server]
Change Service to: [should be left blank]

With that, they send their emails via the Exchange server, so no separate authorization by Astaro is required. They login to their Exchange IMAP account and Exchange authorizes them.

Or, are you doing something else?
