rejected HELO from [192.168.66.1]:54551: syntactically invalid argument(s)

my smtp proxy isn't accepting notifications from one of my asg's. I have 20+ setup the same way(I believe), and never seen this message:

 rejected HELO from [10.168.66.1]:54551: syntactically invalid argument(s): 1fkn1g20@napaanesthesia.com

seems like a valid hostname to me. I have others that are similiar. No underscore or strange characters. Can't figure this one out.

    I just tried to email that address, Brian.  The domain returned a "550 Address unknown" error, so it's probably because the address is incorrect.

    Is the "smtp proxy" you refer to actually an Astaro, or is this a device over which you have no direct control?
