Problems with SMTP Exceptions

Hello all

I am having problems with spam getting through my SMTP exceptions.

I have created an exception for Sender address patterns.

Where it will skip all antispam for dell.com and its subdomains.

The two address patterns i have added look like this:

*@dell.com (for normal dell.com)
*@*.dell.com (for all dell.com subdomains)

The spammer is sending from frankedxj63@rosindell.com.

My log file says: Warning: Exception matched: Skipping antispam for this message.

Why is rosindell.com a match? To my understading - rosindell.com would only mach if my pattern looked like this: *@*dell.com (missing the dot ".")

What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance.
