I want to configure my Astaro Gateway work with an outlook client downloaded mail using pop3 and sending it with SMTP. Gmail does that securely so I am not sure how to configure the Astaro to do this.
Under Web Security
In the SMTP Section
In the Global Tab I have Simple Mode Selected
In the Relaying Tab
Upstream hosts has the smtp.gmail.com server configured
Allow authenticated relaying is enabled
-No users are listed. Do I create a user containg my username and password of my gmail account here?
Scan relayed messages is enabled.
In the Advanced Tab
Transparent mode is enabled
Smarthost settings
The smarthost is smtp.gmail.com
The authentication is my gmail username and password. *I think i answered my previous question about where to put my authentication information
In the POP3 Section
I enabled POP3 * Gmail requires secure POP3 but the astaro has no place to put this information so how will it be able to get my mail and then scan it?
