When I activate the Anti-virus check footer, the footer comes through as a text attachment in all emails. Is there any way to make it come through the body of the email ?
Your Astaro will not disassemble and add the "A/V scanned by Astaro" msg within the "body" of text written by the author of the e-mail (even at the end of the "body") - too many potential issues. If it comes from the Astaro, it's going to be appended to the message as an attachment. However, your e-mail client or mail server software, depending on what you're using, may well support the addition of a footer that you can author to state the same thing *and* include it within the "body" of the message.
I was going to suggest you search here for "footer" because this question was answered recently. I just did that and discovered that it was in the German Forum. Translated: In Outlook, this is seen as an attachment in HTML format and as a footer in "Plain text". In Gmail, it's always a footer.
