Need dynamic way of addling new allowed domains

Hello

I don't know if this is possible at all.

But we have setup a hosting environment, and this require us to be able to allow domains dynamic.

Say I wanted to start accepting and routing mail for a domain.

I want to be able to script this, is there any way to achieve this?

Thanks!

  • I don't know what you would need to script.  This is possible with the SMTP proxy.  You might want to have multiple SMTP Profiles for different levels of service with and without anti-virus, anti-spam, etc.

    Hello BAlfson.

We are hosting email for users, and we have a signup page for customers where they can add theire MX domains to our servers.

Problems is that our Astaro has to be setup manually everytime we get a new customer. It would be nice if i could edit the smtp profiles from a script so i dont have to do it manually when a new customer signs up.

Is there anyway to edit the profiles and reload them from SSH perhaps?
  • I haven't seen anything like this here on the User BB.  Given your situation, you probably have Platinum Support with Astaro.  I suggest you submit a support request as this could be possible.

    Cheers - Bob

Thanks. I will try to submit a support request.
