Signature anomaly?

ASL V7.305, SMTP Proxy
DKIM activated

When I turn on 'Sign outgoing mail' on the 'Options' tab of 'Mail Security >> Encryption', I seem to have trouble with a few systems not liking my emails.

I sent emails with and without signing turned on to my Gmail account, and both went through.  When I examined them, I saw that the signed one had a 120KB smime.p7s file attached.  Whoa!  That's a lotta security!

Should I change something in my configuration or is this an anomaly that I should report to Astaro?

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Cheers - Bob
PS Another person told me that my certificate was invalid, but was able to open my email after acknowledging that.  Could changing my password have invalidated my signature?

  • Is there anyone here who knows enough about SMIME and such to hazard a guess?

    Thanks - Bob
