Problem with SMTP proxy.

Hello!
  We have ASG120 v7.305 and we changed ISP, so ip adress of box changed also. After these changes we cannot send emails to any outside domains.
In SMTP live log we can see such entries:

2008:12:29-16:42:36 (none) exim[5606]: 2008-12-29 16:42:36 0zamyy-00016j-1V == name@domain.com R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (113): No route to host
2008:12:29-16:42:36 (none) exim[5647]: 2008-12-29 16:42:36 0zdtLf-0008Id-0M == name@domain.com R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host
Technically i can ping remote smtp servers....

  • Feels like a DNS problem, but I'm guessing.  Have you changed the 'DNS Forwarders' in 'Network >> DNS'?  Have you check your DNS records in your public authoritative name server to make certain your MX record is correct for you new IP?

    Cheers - Bob
