Quarantine-Report - Mail Release

Hi all,

i have a problem with the Mail-Release-Option of the Quarantine Report.
We have a Hotstandy-Cluster with two nodes.

A click on the Release-Link wont release the Mail.

The problem is that the links in the Quarantine Report point to node "2"

http://***.***.xx:3840/release.plc?proto=smtp&cluster_id=2&message_id=0zi9GH-0004av-0M&size=368&whitelist=0

This is not correct because the Mail is on Node 1.
So if i change the string "cluster_id=2" to "cluster_id=1" the message is released.

How can i solve this ?

    Interesting, Thomas.  Until your post, I didn't realize that the cluster node ID was in the release url.  What version are you on?  Is it possible that the PostgreSQL database is broken on node 2?

    Hi Bob,

    The Firewallversion is 7.302 ... 
    I dont know whether the Database is broken or not .. How do i notice this ? ... i'll do a reboot of the Hotstandy-Node .. maybe this helps.

    Database problems are frequently evident in the System log.  Do you see any postgresql errors in the system messages log?

    Thomas, are you configured as a "Hot-Standby" or as a "Cluster" at present?  We had a delivery problem related to a corrupted database on the slave node of a cluster at one client site.

    Jack Daniel: no i cant find any postgresql-errors in the system-log of the master ... cant access the slave right now.

    Bob: its a hot-standy-configuration... so the second node should "wait" until the master goes down...

    so why is in the url of the mail-release this node (the slave) present ??

    Thomas, if you're still having the problem, I think Astaro should take a look at it.

    We just installed an AMG 1000 and we were having this issue out of the box.  I resolved this issue by adding the A record to our DNS for the Astaro appliance.  (Well maybe note the same issue, but we could not release/whitelist any mail from the quarantine report)

    Thanks for discovering this.  I have an active-active configuration here and I have been trying to deal with users not being able to release quarantined emails for a while now.  The trick of modifying the URL to change the cluster_id value seems to be a usable work-around.

    It appears that the URL always specifies cluster_id=1 regardless of which unit the mail is actually stored on.
