Relay not permitted

I am having an issue with incoming SMTP

Here are some specifics as far as my configuration:
1) Email destined for my domain is being relayed through DnyDNS via thier MailHop Relay (my ISP blocks incoming SMTP)
2) I have added the DynDNS SMTP relay servers to the 'Upstream hosts/networks' box on the 'Relaying' tab (ex: mhfr-01.mailhop.org - mhfr-08...)
3) My domains MX records point to the DynDNS's servers

Note: If I add the DynDNS SMTP relay server to the 'Host-based Relay' box then mail flow works fine but the messages do not seem as though they are being scanned by the Anti-Virus or Anti-Spam filter and instead are being relayed directly to my exchange server.

Am I missing something in the configuration?

    If you briefly put 'Any' in 'Upstream hosts/networks', does that solve the problem?  If not, then you have a configuration problem elsewhere in the 'SMTP Proxy'.

    Yes that does resolve the issue.  The issue is also resolved when/if I put the DynDNS SMTP relay servers in the 'Upstream hosts/networks' but the problem is then that it doesn't look as though the incoming messages are being scanned for virus/spam instead they are just being directly forwarded to my Exchange box.

    Sorry about my question.  I see that you had answered it already in your original post.

    You must have the DynDNS SMTP relay servers in 'Upstream hosts/networks' for the SMTP proxy to accept email in your situation.

    Have you confirmed that nothing is being checked?  In the Mail Manager, the 'SMTP Log' tab shows the disposition of every email traversing the SMTP Proxy.
