in the spam digest, if it is categorised as spam, it does not give you the option to whitelist it or report it as a false positive, if it has got it wrong.

Why is this?

  • If the user receiving the spam digest is not defined as a user on the Astaro, they will not be able to whitelist an email (it assigns the whitelist to that particular user).

  • Bruce, you don't mean the Astaro only keeps that for local users, do you?  Shouldn't he be able to use LDAP or AD to establish a backend group and achieve the result he wants?

  • Bob... the user still has to be defined... but if you're using AD or some other SSO methodology, the Astaro will create those users for you.

  • Thanks, Scott.  So, shouldn't he configure AD Authentication with pre-fetch to do what he wants?  I haven't done that yet.

    Thanks for your help,
You are indeed correct, I have now turned on AD prefetch, tested that I can resolve a user, so lets see what happens now.
