Cant open mailmanager page

When I try to open the mailmanager page. the only result is:

"Please wait, connecting to backend"

but no page ist openend!!

What can i do??

in the httpd.log file i see the following!

Can anyone help?
I nedd to delete some mail in the queue

This is a permission problem. On the shell, do

chmod 755 /var/chroot-httpd/var/jape

That should fix it.

I had the same issue accessing the Mail Manager console.

Tom's hint worked for me and fixed our installation, thanks.
