SMTP Proxy does´nt send mails

Hi All,

our Astaro HA-environment runs on version 7.302.

For 2 days the smtp-proxy does´nt work. We use the astaro as a smtp-smarthost.

In the smtp-proxy logfile we receive entries until this line:

QMGR[6071]: 1Kj8b3-0004V7-2f moved to work queue

After this entry normally the virusscan follows and after that delvivering to the recipient.
None of these steps happens.

I did the following steps:

* virusscan deactivated -> no change
* spam detection deactivated -> no change
* restart smtp-proxy -> no change

What can i do, to find out, what process hangs? Has someone else problems like this?

    Hello CLemens,

    we need more information ...
    your system, is this a ha/cluster system or a stand alone system?

    Have you try to restart the smtp proxy via commandline?


    are they any other error messages in the smtp proxy log?

    our system is a HA system.
    The proxy logfile does´nt show any further entries, every smtp process ends with "moved to work queue". 

    But i´ve found out, when this behaviour happens. If both systems lost one network link at the same time, we determine the problem afterwards. If we reboot the Master system in this case, smtp works fine.
