[7.302] Mail Encryption domain/wildcard Certificate

Hi,

I have a problem configuring e-mail encryption/signing with certain certs.
I set up signing/encryption with several e-mail adresses and it works with no problems, if I have e cert wich was issued for a specific e-mail adress.
The problem is, that are cases where people got *one* wildcard cert for several e-mail adresses in a given domain and I don't know how to set up encryption in this case.
Actually I'm not even sure if it's possible to assign more than one e-mail adress to one cert.

Is there a way to configure e-mail encryption in the way I described, or do I have to search for a different way to solve my problem.

    Hi,

    I have a similar problem. We are asked to set up a point to point encryption between two companies. Both don't want to manage keys for all mail users but use a wildcard key, which is used for all mails for/of their mail domains.

    Any ideas, how to do this. Did you find anything out already?

    Any solution for this yet ? I' am using mail encryption for 2 out of 200 users at the moment, because certification handling is very time consuming.

    Any change to use an domain/wildcard cert for this purpose ?

    Hi, Copyright.  If your correspondants have an MTA/mailserver that does TLS (all probably do), emails are automatically encrypted/decrypted between your Astaro and your correspondants.  In V8.2, you'll be able to require TLS.

    I use TLS and most of the email traffic is encrypted already. But I want to use certificates to sign all mails leaving our company and encrypt the ones we have recipient certificates.

    As I know there is actual no way to do this. I asked Astaro some month before to do this but they said it´s not possible at the moment. They could not tell me when they plan to implement this.

    It´s a "big" feature I miss [:(]
