Pop3proxy Prefetcher exception

I'm downloading my mails over the pop3proxy to filter the spam. I noticed that there are no more new mails coming in over the pop3proxy an then I found this in the pop3proxy log:

2008:09:07-10:29:27 (none) pop3proxy[9748]: Prefetch: account 4
2008:09:07-10:29:31 (none) pop3proxy[9748]: UIDL format error: 30
2008:09:07-10:29:31 (none) pop3proxy[9748]: Prefetcher exception

After that I manually deleted all spam messages on my mailserver and then it worked again. What does this message means? Is this an error in the code of the Astaro firewall?

    The server pop3.webpage.t-com.de also uses Intermail (Openwave Email Mx). It takes the UID from the message-id and if there is none (mostly on spam mails), then the UID is blank. This violates RFC 1939. We will evaluate whether we can do a workaround.

    I get my mail from pop3.webpage.t-com.de too. Is there already a workaround? I have a lot of spam here that cannot be filtered by the pop3-proxy because of this UID error.

    We've done a workaround with following limitations:
    - Prefetch won't work
    - Clients must not use "leave mail on server" option

    It's too late for 7.302, but i can send you a prerelease rpm without warranty (please send mail to cgarst at astaro dot com.)
