We need to block file attachments. My first questions is. The Astaro do not realy block extension, but the mails are moved to the quarantine without a comment to the recipient or the sender. Our requirement is that the attachment would be blocked (like the header in “file extension filter” – “Blocked!!! file extension” implied) with a message to the sender. Is there any solution. But the biggest disadvantage of the Astaro is, when renaming the attachment with another ending, the smtp proxy let pass the attachment. Is this a bug? In other smtp proxies, the header of the attachment are inspected and the proxies do not forward the message. So, the blocking of attachments of the Astaro in this way is unusable. Is there any solution for the Astaro to solve our problem?
