What's the proper method/syntax for blocking a recipient address?
For example, spam messages addressed to: jsmith@mydomain.com, 9jsmith@mydomain.com, 46jsmith@mydomain.com All the messages either had 1 or 2 random numbers in front of the address, or just the address by itself.
We tried several things including .*jsmith@mydomain.com (which stopped a lot, but not all of them). Astaro support told us to use: \.jsmith@mydomain.com (which didn't seem to work as well as the earlier example).
We placed these entries in the expression filter under the SMTP->Anti-Spam. According to the manual, the expression filter only checks the subject and body of the message. Is this the correct place to put this filter? Or where should we have put it?
