How do i prevent the Astaro Box from scanning an email address

Hello,

I am new to the Astaro unit, only got it installed a couple weeks ago, and I am not a true IT guy, sort of a buy default guy at a small company.  With that being said, one of the users (the owner) doesn't like that the Astaro sends out an email once a day.  He wants either the email sent out more frequently, or for it not to scan his email at all.  If it was any one else i'd tell them that it wasn't possible, but he is the owner and pays the check.

So is it possible to make the daily email go out more frequently?  And if not, is it possible to have the Astaro Box not to scan any emails sent to a certain email address?

BTW, I have an Astaro Security gateway v7 - ASG120.  and is up to date with the firmware and patterns.

    Hi,
    I don't fully understand your request.

    The ASG scans all e-mail if you have the proxies pop3/smtp setup. 

    The only report that is sent out to a user once a day is the spam result and that can be disabled for a user or a number of users. Check emaill security->exceptions.

    The ASG sends out performance reports daily if you have reporting turned on.

    I am aware about the daily email that the user gets and the preformance reports that I am getting daily.  Basically the user doesn't want his email filtered by the Astaro unit.  

    So i guess my question is there an exception/rule that i can make that says, any emails to user1@mydomain.com, don't scan it for SPAM and just pass it on through.

    Hi,
    I would suggest you start exploring the menus in webadmin.

    While I can provide you then answers you won't learn what you box is capable of.

    But as a starter have a look in the email security-> pop3 -> exceptions and then some of the other tabs.
