Need solution... Powerful anti-spam configurations

I'm using ASG 525 v7.104.
Lately I saw many spam emails quarantined and also many spam emails getting through... thousands of spam emails [:(]
I have enabled RBL settings, heuristic spam filter (Warn=4, Quarantined=7), also adding some RegEx in the Expression Filter, Greylisting, BATV, and SPF Check. I don't get it why Astaro cannot do the perfect job to quarantine spam emails, even I enabled all the anti-spam configurations. [:S]

So.... How to make powerful anti-spam configuration?
Post all your ideas. I get stuck on this....

*Any idea would make me sleep well tonight [:)]

  • I just set it so anything over 3 goes to quarantine... these settings work well at a number of customer sites.  I don't even enable BATV or Greylisting.

There is no such thing as a perfect anti-spam system ---  if there were we'd all be using it... the Astaro does a pretty good job, though, in my opinion.

  • I don't quarantine anything, just mark it in the headers/subject as spam and let the client side or server side rules filter it into Junk Mail. Its just too risky that a valid business email will go into spam by mistake, and the businesses I look after can't afford to lose a customer to that sort of error and don't want the hassle/time to do the checking in quarrantine.
