ASG with Exchange 2003

I've configured my ASG120

as a SMTP Relay and some of my users uses a pop3 to receive them Email  and i setup a DNAT for a pop3 , smtp and OWA.

the problem is any one "from outside SPAMMER" can relay messages and the Exchange server.
I want only the exchange server can relay.
because of that the number of messages has reached 25,000 per day so far.

i want to make a rule for SPAM messages i.e "Domain name, IP and contents".

now i cant send any Email to Hotmail my IP address listed as SPAM source who can i fix this
also the ASG CPU has reached 99% why has reached.

    It sounds like you added "any" to the smtp allowed relays, which is something that I would not recommend. You should only have your exchange server in this list and/or the internal network. If remote users need to send mail by relaying off of the astaro, i would suggest configuring smtp authenticated relay.

    right now it's working fine by this configuration that you gave me 

    but there is still spammer using astaro SMTP
    how can i stop that

    if you are only allowing the exchange server and authenticated users to relay off of the astaro, then a spammer should not be able to relay off of the smtp proxy. I would suggest double checking the smtp settings and also check your packet filter rules to make sure that they are not allowing the spammer to relay off of the astaro.

    If you need to drop the traffic from the spammer you can create a static route for the spammers IP address and choose blackhole route.

    Sometimes people think they have spam coming from inside when it is actually only a spammer who has forged an address from your domain and is sending from elsewhere.

    You can check the outbound traffic to see if spams are going out through the Astaro.  Activate the transparent setting fo the SMTP proxy.
