many domains and 5 mailservers

Hi,

we have about 200 domains and 5 mailservers ...

I do not get the clue how to configure it:

All e-mails should be forwarded transparent to their according mailserver withput checking.
Just for some domains I want that the incoming emails are checked for spam and virus.

    thanks. I already found this. What i do not understand ...

    So when I turn on the smtp proxy as transparent it just passes all mails and only filters these domains I have setup in per-domian ?

    How do I have to set the "global internal server" ? It is not only one. I have 5.

    You must have a least 1 global SMTP server defined.  Yes I know it's an odd way of doing it.

    I'd suggest you use the mail server with MOST of your domains on it.  The rest, setup in Per-domain profiles.

    Transparent SMTP just means the firewall intercepts all port 25 traffic and handles it according to rules applied.  Most of the time this would mean just passing the traffic on.

    Suggest you set each domains MX record to the Astaro box, then it will handle mail forwarding to the relevant domains.

    hi,

    my problem is that it are about 600 domains. to add them manually is nearly impossible.

    Is there perhaps some kind of a wildcard option ... e.g. that I say * domains are routed by mx record except the one I realy have defined.
