Astaro + PostFix

Hi, i am having trouble trying to configure a mail server connected to an Astaro firewall. The thing is that my mail server worked before without any firewall, but recently i have installed an Astaro unit and now the mail server doesn't work right anymore, clearly because i must configured it to work with the firewall and that right there is my problem. All the outgoing mail stays queued and they don't get delivered and my postfix mail lo tells me it's because it doesn't find the host, or route not found. I tried to see if the Astaro could ping the server (it accepts ping) so maybe i know that thay can see each other but they don't, and neither works the other way around. Can anyone give me an idea about how to approach this? What rules must i create in the Astaro? Thanks for any answer i may get.

    At a very high level - these are two main items that you need to configure:
    1.  Postfix needs to be configured to send all of its outgoing email via a 'relay server' (your Astaro box). 
    2.  Your Astaro box needs to be configured to accept email from your mail server: 
    Email Security / SMTP / Relaying
    Under host based relay - you need to add your mail server(s) or Network.

    That would fix your outgoing email issue.

    You also need to configure Astaro to accept incoming email and route it to your mail server:
    Email Security/SMTP / Global

    We need to know a lot more before we can answer that question:

    Was your Postfix server set to forward to your ISPs SMTP server or did it go straight out to the rest of the world?

    Did your email server have its own External IP Address?

    Are you receiving email now?

    Is the Astaro configured with the same EXT IP as the mail server or different?
