1. login to Astaro Console as root.
loginuser
su
2. change the directory to /var/chroot-smtp/etc
3. mkdir exim.conf.mxbackup
4. cd exim.conf.mxbackup
5. Create here the mxbackupdomain (e.g. touch domain.tld)
6. cd ..
7. vi exim.conf
8. search for this entries and add the line marked above
# Directories
INCLUDE = /etc/exim.conf.includes
PROFILES = /etc/exim.conf.profiles
EXCEPTIONS = /etc/exim.conf.exceptions
MXBACKUP = /etc/exim.conf.mxbackup R= Accepted: MXBackup Domain
12. type :qw! (exit vi)
13. make now modifications on the WebGui
14. go to Email Security - SMTP - Per-domain profiles
15. insert here the domain you would configure as mxbackup (same as before : e.g. domain.tld)
route type: MX record
16. save all
