I have 7.104 and getting more Spam

We are blocking a ton is in quarentine but the ones that get through some have a score and some list below, look like it wasn't scanned for spam and they are obviously are.

    I have a looooong running ticket with astaro on this exact issue.  Since they switched to a proprietary spam scanner the results have been far worse than spamassassin they used to use in 7.00.  

    First the proxy goes form squid(open source) to a proprietary one..now the anti-spam goes from spamassassin to a proprietary one...what's next?

    I've noticed that I'll occasionally get a storm of spam through the firewall with no *SPAM* markings...only to a return to normal behavior 10-15-20 minutes later, but could never explain what was happening.  Well, it just happened again -- a sudden rush of 50-75 SPAM messages, but this time I logged onto the Astaro webconsole and noticed my CPU was pegged (e.g., running between 98 - 100%).  So I issued a restart command and the system is back up & running normally (CPU at 3%).  I've relaunched my email client several times and no spam.

    Is there a way to tell what the CPU is busy doing when it happens again?  And has anyone else seen this type of behavior?

    Well, it looks the CPU wasn't the source of my problem.  I was able to look at the email headers and found this...

    Same here, I have sent themo dozens of samples and heard absolutley nothing, we have opted to use our ISP who run spamassassin to tag it as well. That way we are catching it all.  

    But astaro support on this issue has been hopeless, they just keep asking for samples. [:@]

    The daft thing is that the very first month of the new scanner it worked very well, you will even find a posting from me here praising it.

    I'm going to rebuild my firewall this weekend and see what happens.  My spam avalanche started when the server lost power due to an extended blackout.  Since I posted my original message, I've noticed it's only happening on one POP account.  In addition, it's the same messages posting over and over again like it's stuck in a "do loop".
