Spam Mails hang on POP Server

Hello

I have configured a POP3 proxy. My problem is, SPAM Mails that will captured from Spam filter will not be deleted on POP3 Server when I recive mails with my mail server.
The checkbox "Leave Mails on Server" is not switch on on mail server.

Is there a solution for this problem?

    Hi Andy,

    it' not a bug, it's a feature.

    The mail marked as spam is only prefetched in the ASG and was not read or deleted by you. So it is still kept on the POP-Server. 
    If you release the mail or the time spam mails are held on the ASG is expired, then those mails are deleted from the POP-Server.

    Thanks for replay.
    This coult be. Because I had the held time for spam on 30 days. So when I do not release the spam mail (I won't do this with spam) they will kept on POP server till the 30 days are over.
    So I have to config the days to 14 days to minimize the spam amount on my POP-Server.

    Is this write?

    Yes, this would reduce the amount of spam on your POP-server.

    You can check it by just releasing one mail (a not too bad one!) and searching for this mail before and after the release on your POP-Server.
