SMTP timeout while connected to (domain here)

"SMTP timeout while connected to (Domain here) after sending data block (8189 bytes written): Connection timed out"

We have been receiving these errors for almost all outbound email. DNS seems to be resolving fine, just getting disconnects.

the only thing that has changed is upgrading to this patch.

any ideas?

Any IPS rules being triggered? I've had this happen before with IPS rules that generated false positives... you can disable the "bad" rule if this is the case.

I have the same problem too, May tried disable the IPS features
