Is it mandatory for the POP3 proxy to modify the UID of the e-mails that were pre-fetched? I thought would be good for the UIDs to remain unchanged especially for new users who would try out the POP3 pre-fetch mode and at the same time have the 'Leave Message on Server' option enabled on their POP3 client software.
If the POP3 proxy changes the UID it will effectively cause havoc for these users (re-downloading of old e-mails....)
