Does the Backup include the Spam Quarantaine?

Hi,

Everything is said in the title : Does the Backup include the Spam Quarantaine?

In other words, if I reinstall the ASG software and restore the backup, is it still possible to release some 'faulty' spam?

No. THe backup only includes configuration information, no logs, proxy cache, or SMTP quarantine items are backed up.

Doubtful. Most people view quarantines as something that can be thrown away in the event of a firewall loss.

Fact is, if you're catching a lot of good email in your quarantine, it's not configured properly.

I don't see a real need for it, either. I would like to see them add Blackhole as an option in the SMTP proxy (I hear that's coming at some point).
