POP3 Notification Question!

Hey everyone,

I am wondering if there is a way to turn the POP3 notifcation off? I get quite a bit of SPAM and would like to just use the daily report and not be notified for each SPAM mail?

Is this possible? If so, how to set up???

    You normally don't receive an e-mail each time a message is quarantined, you might receive 2 per account. Check to see if each message is a duplicate.

    I can't remember whether the notification has been change to twice a day or just still just once.

    Pleas einvestigate and report your findings.

    The system will quarantine the SPAM mail as it should and it sends me the “generic” POP 3 email that tells me that it has quarantined a message. I would prefer to be notified once or twice per day and allowed to release what I do not think is SPAM. Not sure how to set this up though. Am I missing something here?

    I have the system set to send the quarantine message to the users…..

    I have mine set likewise, but at this stage I don't get that much spam. Lets hope it stays that way. I find my spam increases each time I have to register software which has been quite often due to Vista 64's bad behavior.

    I did go back over the manual and the system is acting as it should...

    I ended up creating a rule in Outlook that moves mail from "POP 3" to the Junk folder and that works just fine.

    I am trying to get the Pre-fetch working but so far - no joy. I will continue to mess with it.

    So the system is correct in how it is working right now.

    Prefetch working for you?
