Version 7 (as of Version 7.008) uses a new anti-spam engine which replaced SpamAssassin... it does appear to be more effective, and also uses less system resources (RAM).

I believe it's provided by CommTouch; They use their own network of "spam traps" to capture spam in the wild and build their fingerprint DB off of that. I don't believe they accept submissions; I'd be willing to bet that if they have an extensive network of "traps" that by the time you submit a spam email, they would already be processing a sample by then anyway.

Well, we've found that it does a pretty good job. That said, I've not seen a 100% effective anti-spam solution yet; whoever comes up with that will be a very rich person. All anti-spam systems (like anti-virus systems) have their strengths and weaknesses; we've noted less false positives with the new system.

we are currentl working on a system where end-users and/or admins can report false negative and false postitives. Both from external as well as from within webadmin.
The systems still needs some time to be final, so stay tuned. It might take till end of the year though.

So did you ever get this system set up? If so how do we submit spam samples?
I am getting a lot slip through since going to 7.301 it is worse than when I was on 7.104.
