Yesterday I sent the EICAR-file to my pc. I wanted to see how ASG handles infected files. ASG caught the file and put it into Quarantine. But only for one day. The next day the message with the EICAR attachment was released from Quarantine without my intervention and forwarded to Outlook.
Is this normal? In the ASG user manual you can read:
"Messages containing malicous content will be blocked
and stored in the e-mail quarantine. End users can review and release their
quarantined messages either through the Astaro end user portal or the daily
e-mail report."
I never released the message. ASG just decided to let it go.
