major issue using transparent SMTP-Proxy

All,

we´re using an Astaro ASG220 with v7.005 for a couple of weeks now and are experiencing major problems almost every day. The CPU usage hangs at 100% and email delivery is delayed for hours. Live-Log shows that many emails are processed and no errors.

Already tried disabling Greylisting and Anti-Virus without any positive effect.

    Are you getting mail hosts IP showing as 127.0.0.1 instead of the correct host IP?

    thanks for your reply. I was already wondering why localhost is showing up...

    this is a typical entry in the smtp-livelog:

    Thats the SMTP proxy / filter log.

    Whats happening in the SMTP Engine log?  (Go to logging pages)

    Looks like you have the same problem I do.

    Check your quarantine manager, under SMTP - Error.  Do the emails not sent appear in there after an hour or so?

    my problem with this still remains unresolved until now....

    lost a deal because of this delay.....
